HAL, Rolls-Royce to set up manufacturing JV

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), the premier aerospace company in India, and Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, today signed an agreement for a joint venture in manufacturing.

The new company, a 50:50 joint venture between Rolls-Royce and HAL, would undertake the manufacture of compressor shroud rings.
