In a statement, Happiest Minds said Gulati decided to move on as he was not able to relocate to Bangalore because of his personal priorities. The company has its headquarters in Bangalore.
Gulati, a former CEO and president of Intelligroup joined the core team of the Bangalore based company during its inception. He was also one of the 12 co-founders of the company.
"Vikram has contributed enormously to getting Happiest Minds off the launching pad and achieve record breaking performance. We wish him all the best in his career ahead," said Soota who is the Executive Chairman of the company. The company will announce the appointment of a new CEO and MD in due course, he added.
