Hello India Digital and Electronics, a Mumbai-based distributor of PC peripherals, tablets and camera batteries, launched Hong Kong-based telephony handset products manufacturer Native Union’s ‘Pop Phone’ in the domestic market on Friday.
The retro Pop Phone wired handset, which is ideal to use when one is not actually mobile, is compatible with phones and computers, including iPhone, BlackBerry, iPad and the latest MacBooks.
“The Pop Phone eliminates absorbed cell phone radiation by up to 99% compared to a direct use of the mobile phone. It also allows the users to access to all the other functions of the device during the conservation,” Hello India Digital said in a press release.
Inspired by the classic 1950s Bekelite phones, the Pop Phone was designed for Native Union by French designer David Turpin. It is priced at Rs 1,590.
