HMSI sales up 50% in October

Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India today reported 50.05% growth in sales at 3,75,741 units for October 2013.
The company's total sales had stood at 2,50,408 units in the same month of last year.
Motorcycle sales registered 50.11% rise to 1,82,683 units in October 2013, from 1,21,693 units in October 2012, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) said in a statement.
The company also reported an increase of 49.98% in its scooter sales at 1,93,058 units from 1,28,715 units in October 2012, it said.
