Housing website gets funds from ex-Network 18 chief

Housing.co.in will use funds to further expand its operations across India

Mumbai based online realty venture Housing.co.in got second round of funding from former Network18 chief executive, Haresh Chawla.

Housing.co.in will use the funds to further expand its operations across India and strengthen its hold on the online real estate business.

The company has not divulged investment details.

"Amazingly fast in execution and the strongest team in the current start-up ecosystem. So the bet is simply on the team." said Haresh Chawla.

But, Housing.co.in allows buyers to find homes directly held by owners.
