Hunter Douglas launches operations in Sri City
The company makes systems for interior and exterior window coverings apart from acoustical and metal ceilings, solar control and facades

Hunter Douglas India Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hunter Douglas NV of Netherlands, inaugurated its unit in Sri City Special Economic Zone on Tuesday. The company makes systems for interior and exterior window coverings apart from acoustical and metal ceilings, solar control and facades.
“I am happy to inaugurate yet another unit in India, in right time. It will strengthen our offerings to the architectural and interior market in India,” David H Sonnenberg, co-president and chief operating officer of Hunter Douglas Group said while addressing a gathering.
Some of the major corporate clients of the company in India include TCS, iFlex, Yahoo, Accenture, Bharti, Oracle, HCL, Standard Chartered, IBM and Reliance. Hunter Douglas products are also used at Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai airports, according to a statement.
