Idea releases more PoIs to Jio

Days after the regulator brought warring telcos to negotiate, Idea Cellular said the company would provide Points of Interconnect very liberally and continue to support all new operators.

The telco said Jio had 2.97 million unique subscribers who terminated calls on the Idea network. However, Idea said given that more Jio customers were calling Idea's network than the other way around, the asymmetry in traffic continued.
