IESA announces new executive council for 2013-14

PVG Menon will continue as president India Electronics and Semiconductor Association

The India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), the trade body, representing the Indian Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and Semiconductor industry on Thursday announced its executive council for the year 2013–14.

According to a release from IESA Sanjeev Keskar, Managing Director Sales, India & SEA, PMC-Sierra has been appointed as the new Chairman.

The present President, PVG Menon will continue as the president India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), the association said.

Ashok Chandak, Senior Director—Global Sales and Marketing NXP Semiconductors India is the new Vice Chairman and Vivek Tyagi, Country Sales Director, Freescale Semiconductor will continue as treasurer for the year 2013-14.
 

“The Indian electronics ecosystem is at a point of inflection. We have covered much ground in bringing about change in policy and have set the stage for the industry to move to the next level. We hope to see India very soon take her position in the world economy as a true leader in electronics,” said Sanjeev Keskar, Chairman, Indian Electronics and Semiconductor Association.

Satya Gupta, who is the former Chairman of IESA would continue on the executive council as capacity as advisor.
