IIFL to conduct 1000 financial literacy programs

India Infoline Limited (IIFL) plans to organise 1000 financial literacy workshops across India during current financial year.

A first-of-its-kind by IIFL, the financial literacy workshop will focus on financial education and awareness amongst diverse investor segments including HNIs, self-driven retail investors, senior citizens and youth. The workshops look to introduce and reinforce best practices in investing in financial markets – directly or through intermediaries among participants. "We have named this program Financial Literacy Agenda for Mass Empowerment (FLAME)," said Ravi Tripathi, AVP, IIFL.
