The acquisition was made through the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act that empowers banks and financial institutions to recover bad loans without court intervention.
The wind farm is two years old, and is expected to generate 16 million units of electricity and reduce approximately 14,000 tonne of carbon per annum, the company said in a release today.
Indowind, engaged in the wind farm development and generation of green power, is listed in both BSE and NSE.
