With the tourist season at its peak in the hills of Himachal Pradesh SpiceJet has started flights between Delhi and Dharamsala.
The first 68 seater flight landed in Dharamsala from Delhi Friday.
Later the state's transport and food minister GS Bali flagged off the flight back to Delhi .

"Permission has been given by the DG civil aviation to allow daily flights to Dharamsala," SpiceJet vice- president Kama Hinorani said .
The flight takes off from Delhi at 5.55 am and will land at the Kangra airport at 7.30 am and will fly back to Delhi at 7.50 am .
The ticket costs Rs 3000 but is soon expected to go up. Dharamsala is Spicejet's 46th destination in India , the airlines now operates to 54 airports.The airlines soon plans to travel via Chandigarh which falls midway.
Last month Air India resumed its flights from Delhi to Dharamsala and Kullu airports in Himachal Pradesh.
