Leo Puri steps down from Infosys board

Puri has been appointed as managing director of UTI Asset Management Co Ltd

Independent Director Leo Puri today resigned from the Board of Directors of Infosys following his appointment as the managing director of UTI Asset Management Co Ltd, a company release said. Puri had joined Infosys' Board in April this year.

The company now has 15 directors on its board, including eight independent directors. Infosys' independent directors include Ashok Leyland Executive Vice Chairman R.Seshasayee, and former ICICI Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer K.V. Kamath among others.
