Mastek Q3 records net loss of Rs 7.1 cr

Mastek Ltd has posted a net loss at consolidated level of Rs 7.12 crore for the third quarter ended March 31, 2011 as against a net profit of Rs 15.26 crore for the same period last year. The total income of the company declined 11% to Rs 153 crore as against Rs 172 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

For nine months ended, the company has reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 48.24 crore compared with a net profit of Rs 65.21 crore in the previous year. Total income declined 18% to Rs 456 crore from Rs 557 crore during the period.

 

The shares of mid-size IT firm had closed 5% lower at Rs 120 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
