Microsoft keen on Tamil Nadu projects

Microsoft International has shown interest in investing in education and e-governance projects among others in Tamil Nadu. Jean Philippe Courtois, president, Microsoft International, on Tuesday met chief minister J Jayalalithaa and discussed further investments in these fields. It is keen to extend its core programmes like faculty empowerment for non-IT faculty at higher education level, peer coaching programme, nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship among students and establishment of cloud computing centres, a release said.
