Mukesh New Chairman

Mukesh Ambani, the elder of the Ambani scions, today took over as the new chairman of Reliance Industries.

Following a unanimous decision of the board, Mukesh was elevated to chairman and managing director from his earlier position of vice-chairman and managin director. Younger brother Anil, who was so long the managing director, has also been re-designated as vice-chairman and managing director.
