NEWSALERT: James Leng steps down from Tata Steel's board

Tata Steel has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that James Leng has stepped down as a director from the board of the company with effect from 7 July, 2009.

Leng was the former chairman of Corus, which Tata had acquired in 2007.
