State-run National Fertilisers Ltd (NFL) today posted net loss of Rs 25.90 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, due to higher expenditure of power and fuel.
The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 0.74 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
Total income during the July-September period increased by 3% to Rs 2006.49 crore from Rs 1947.68 crore in the same period last year, the company said in a BSE filing.

National Fertilizers has two manufacturing plants in Punjab and one each in Madhya Pradesh and Haryana.
Shares of the company today closed at Rs 22.70down by 1.30% apiece at the BSE.
