NHPC annual net at Rs 1,050 crore

NHPC, the country’s largest hydroelectric power producer, has registered 4.6 per cent increase in net profit for the year ended March 31, 2009. Net profit for the year stood at Rs 1,050 crore, while turnover rose 11.3 per cent to Rs 2,562 crore.
