NIIT Q3 net up 73% at Rs 9.5 cr

NIIT today reported a 72.7 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 9.5 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009.

The company had a net profit of Rs 5.5 crore in the December quarter of FY09, NIIT said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The net revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 283.6 crore - up 2% from the same quarter last year. A 2% growth was also seen in system-wide revenue at Rs 396.5 crore for Q3FY10.
