Radico Khaitan to acquire Brihan's IMFL brands

 According to a release issued by Radico Khaitan to the BSE today, Radico would acquire Brihan's Napoleon brandy, Brihan's premium whisky and Brihan's grape brandy among other IMFL brands.

 "The acquisition would enable the company to consolidate its position in Tamil Nadu, and the canteen stores department (defence) market," the release added.

 The board of directors of Radico Khaitan, which met on September 28, also approved a proposal for increasing FII limit to 35% from 24%.
