Power supplier Reliance Power posted a 4.3% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 250.5 crore for the quarter ended September 2013, helped by strong operational and financial performance.
The Anil Ambani group firm had a net profit of Rs 240 crore in the year-ago period.
"The company maintained its growth momentum by registering strong operational and financial performances," Reliance Power said in a statement.

In the second quarter of current financial year, the company's total income climbed to Rs 1,457 crore from Rs 1,81 crore in the same period a year ago.
According to the company, the progress at the second unit of 660 MW at Sasan ultra mega power project is likely to be commissioned this month.
Sasan project has a total generation capacity of 3,960 MW and the first unit of 660 MW is already operational.
"The work at 100 MW Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) project in Dhursar, Rajasthan is on stream and the project is expected to be commissioned in the current financial year," the statement said.
Reliance Power has an operating portfolio of 2,545 MW.
On Monday, the company's stocks on BSE closed 2.4% down at Rs 73 apiece.
