Launch of new products and enhanced exports has helped Ahmedabad-based air cooler company, Symphony Limited report a 20.32 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 18 crore for the third quarter ended March 31, 2013. As against this, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 14.96 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal 2011-12.
In terms of net sales, Symphony Limited saw a rise of 9.23 per cent for Q3 of FY 2013 at Rs 85.18 crore as compared to previous fiscal's same quarter turnover of Rs 77.98 crore. Meanwhile, net sales in first nine months of FY 2013 at Rs 197.16 crore were higher by 21.01 per cent compared to Rs 162.93 crore in the first nine months of previous fiscal. For the nine months ended March 31 2013, the company reported a net profit of Rs 36.78 crore.
