Get Closer describes themselves as an “actionable Change.org”. The start-up was originally created to help companies connect with relevant NGOs in order to comply with a newly introduced Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) act. It has since pivoted towards crowdfunding for lawyer services.
 
Talenta | Indonesia 
Indonesian cloud-based human resources management start-up Talenta tracks attendance, paid time off requests, overtime requests, and payroll. The start-up claims to help simplify salary issues, including tax reports, payroll slips, payroll files for banks, and other procedures that can bog down start-ups.
 
Paywhere | Singapore
Paywhere is the company behind TackThis, a cloud-based ecommerce platform that operates on a software-as-a-service model. It enables entrepreneurs and businesses to set up their own online stores in just a few steps, manage their inventory, and accept payments through a variety of local providers. The company was recently acquired by Philippine telecommunications firm PLDT, through unit Voyager Innovations.
 
 
Sheroes | India 
Sheroes is an online platform for women professionals looking for sustainable work options in India. Unlike other similar initiatives, this company specifically works with educated, professional women.
 
Capital Match | Singapore
Capital Match provides an online platform where borrowers can submit their loan request, and prospective lenders can decide whether they want to extend the loan. Investors can expect a return of about 20 percent to 25 percent on their investment, according to the company. The start-up handles the entire process, including payment processing, due diligence, debt collection, and investor updating.
 
YourStory | India
Indian media start-up YourStory started in 2008 as a blog on entrepreneurs with a staff of 50 across all departments. The start-up claims to have reached 60 million engaged readers through 20,000 stories. It has sub-sites like HerStory, SocialStory, and YS TV.
