United Breweries net profit up 75%

Top line surged a good 18 per cent at Rs 873 cr

United Breweries Limited, the brewery arm of UB Group known for the Kingfisher beer, has posted a 75 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 34.2 crore for the second quarter, compared to the same period last year. Top line surged a good 18 per cent to Rs 873 crore. The management said it witnessed healthy growth in most major markets.
