Us Consultancy Nexant Plans Beachhead

US-based energy and environment consultancy firm Nexant has decided to start operations in India. The Bechtel-affiliated company will set up an office in Delhi next month, as part of its larger expansion programme for the south-Asian region.

The company will primarily target private sector energy and environment companies in India. So far, Nexant only had technical assistance personnel and specific projects offices in India and had been doing projects for donor-supported institutions.
