Usher Agro FY10 net up 58% at Rs 23cr

Rice processor Usher Agro today reported 58.45 per cent rise in net profit for the year ended June 30, 2010, at Rs 23.53 crore.

The company had recorded Rs 14.85 crore net profit for the year-ago period, it said in a statement.

Turnover grew by 63.67 per cent during the year to Rs 342 crore compared to Rs 209 crore in the year ended June 30, 2009.

"We are extremely happy with our performance and with the faith of the investors, we will continue with this growth," Usher Agro Managing Director Vinod Kumar Chaturvedi said.
