Videocon Ind plans rights issue

Videocon Industries today said it will consider selling equity shares on right basis and has called a board meeting on October 31 to discuss the issue.

The company did not specify how much it will raise from the issue and where it would deploy the funds.

The company's stock was trading at Rs 238, nearly 1.41 per cent lower than Tuesday's close.
