Welspun India sees net profit rise 64% in Q4

Revenue stands at Rs 1,185 cr, a rise of 57% compared to 756.9 cr last year

Welspun India reported a 64% rise in net profit at Rs 103.5 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 14 compared to Rs 63.2 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue of the company stood at Rs 1,185 crore, a rise of 57% compared to 756.9 crore last year.

The company saw a rise in it's sales on the back of higher sales of towels and rugs.

Also higher realisations caused sales to move up.
