Wockhardt appoints BDO Haribhakti as auditor

The Audit Committee and Board of Directors of pharmaceutical and  biotechnology major, Wockhardt Limited, today appointed BDO Haribhakti as Statutory Auditors of the company from the financial year commencing from January 1, 2009.

It is proposed that BDO Haribhakti be retained for a term of 5 years.

"BDO is the fifth largest accountancy network worldwide", he added.

BDO International is present in 110 countries with more than 1000 offices, 2520 partners, 44,000 professional staff and world wide fee income of $5.2 billion. Shailesh Haribhakti is the Executive Chairman and Managing Partner of the firm.
