V-Guard posted 26% rise in net

Net revenue from operations were Rs. 477.70 crore; an increase of 17%

Consumer electrical and electronics company, V-Guard Industries  has posted 26% rise in net profit during April – June period [Q1] of the current financial year. The company earned a net profit of Rs 22.25 crore as against Rs 17.64 crore in the same period of last financial year. Net revenue from operations  were Rs. 477.70 crore; an increase of 17%,  against Rs 408.16 crore   over the  corresponding period of last financial year.

Mithun. K. Chittilappilly, Managing Director said that the  company registered good growth during the first quarter of FY14-15 in terms of revenue and profit. V- Guard will launch a  premium electric water heater model ‘Pebble’  shortly at the national level.   Also, a  new range of mixer grinders will be introduced in Kerala market before the Onam season. The company has launched  Induction cook tops in the  South Indian markets during April – June period. V-Guard has planned to widen its products portfolio in the current year,  he added.
