350-feet statue of Ambedkar to be set up in Indu Mill

A 350-feet tall bronze statue of B R Ambedkar will feature at the Ambedkar memorial to be set up at Indu Mill land here.

The statue will be called the 'Statue of Equality', to mark Ambedkar's contribution to fight against social injustice, Maharashtra Social Justice Minister Rajkumar Badole said here today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had performed the bhumi poojan of the Ambedkar memorial in October 2015.
