CSK signs Orient as sponsor

MS Dhoni led Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has signed Orient, the electrical goods company, as their sponsor. Under the sponsorship deal, Orient's logo will feature on the caps and helmets of team Chennai Super Kings. Captain Dhoni is also the brand ambassador for the company's fan brand Orient PSPO.

Mr. Arun Pandey, CMD of Rhiti Sports Management Pvt Ltd, the firm that handles the marketing for CSK,said, 'We are happy to have Orient on board. The sponsorship dealwill include using the" company's logo as well as promoting their brand. It's a good coming together of brands that share similar values and we hope this will be the beginning of a longassociation."

 

With this deal, Chennai Super Kings have three new sponsorship deals for this season - UST Global, Orbit Cables and Orient Electric. The main sponsors of the team - Aircel,Gulf Oil, Reebok and Pepsico continue their relationship with the franchise.
