Flight services to international destinations resumed today from Chennai. The airport was closed on December 1 due to heavy rain. Partial operations were started on Sunday.
According to a PIB release, international flight operations have resumed at Chennai Airport from 6 am today. Night flight operations will also continue.
Today’s flight operation status at the airport at 11.30 am is as follows:
1. TRJ201, TruJet from Shamshabad to Chennai arrived at 0830 hrs
2. AIC1546, Air India from Shamshabad to Chennai arrived at 0901 hrs
3. TRJ202, Trujet from Chennai to Shamshabad departed at 0910 hrs
4. AX868, Express India from Singapore to Chennai arrived at 1000 hrs
5. JAI350, Jet Airways from Mumbai to Chennai arrived at 1010 hrs
GoAir announced they had resumed flight operations to Chennai from today.
