A software professional working with India's second-largest IT services company Infosys, is missing in Brussels since the terrorist attack in the Belgian capital on Monday left 33 people dead.

The government is doing its best to locate the missing person, Raghavendran Ganesh, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted on Tuesday.

"We are in touch with the missing employee's family and are working with the Indian Embassy and local authorities in Brussels to locate our employee on priority," the company said in a statement. Ganeshan had been in Brussels on a project for four years.

According to media reports, before he left for work on Tuesday morning, he had spoken to his mother on Skype.
