Maharashtra govt to cooperate Tata Group's skill development, primary education projects

CM Fadnavis also discusses with Cyrus Mistry the involvement of private sector in CSR activities in the state

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday assured state government's full cooperation to Tata Group in its skill development project.

Fadnavis met Tata Group Chairman Cyrus Mistry and assured the state government's association with the Group's project to enhance the quality of primary education in tribal areas.

According to the release issued by the Chief Minister's Office late evening, Fadnavis also discussed with Mistry the involvement of the private sector in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in the state. Besides, Fadnavis informed him a slew of decisions taken by the state government to promote industrialisation and attract investments.

Further, the CM assured Mistry to seek inputs from the private sector for reforms and improvements in the state's industrial policy.
