MEA terms move 'frivolous'

The ministry of external affairs on Friday termed a case filed against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a local court in New York as a frivolous and malicious attempt to distract attention from his visit to the United States. It said the allegations made in the case were similar to those made in the past against the PM, and a Supreme Court monitored investigation had dismissed these as baseless.
