Indian IT services industry says engineers from the country working in the US should be counselled on how to protect themselves against racist attacks in the wake of Kansas incident where an Indian engineer Srinivas Kuchibhotla was allegedly killed by a shooter.

A 51-year-old man from Olathe, Adam W Purinton, allegedly opened fire at Srinivas Kuchibhotla, an Indian engineer with aviation Garmins Ltd, Alok Madasani of Overland Park, and another bar attendant Ian Grillot of Grandview, reported The Kansas City Star.
