Nancy Powell visits IIM Lucknow

First female US Ambassador to India interacts with students, faculty members

US Ambassador to India Nancy J Powell today visited Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L).

Powell, who is the first female US Ambassador to India, interacted with IIM-L students and faculty members.

She highlighted that USA saw India as a leading strategic partner and was keen to take this relationship further.

Powell informed the students that new opportunities were being jointly explored by both nations in the field of education and research.
