No more check-in queues! Automated self bag drop system launched in B'luru

Bengaluru Airport has deployed 16 fully-automated self-bag drop machines

The here Thursday said it has become the first airport in the country to introduce fully automated self-bag drop system.

Bangalore International Airport Limited- operator of the Bengaluru Airport, has deployed 16 fully-automated self-bag drop machines.

This will significantly accelerate the baggage transaction and reduce check-in queues, a release said.

Designed and installed by Materna IPS, the Air.Go fully-automated self-bag drop machines would initially be available for passengers flying with Air Asia and Spice Jet, it said adding that the facility would be expanded to more airlines in the near future.
