Prime Minister to inaugurate agri fair

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give more teeth to a pro-farmer Budget by inaugurating a 'Krishi Unnati Mela' in Delhi on March 19 that will demonstrate modern farm technologies and the government's new agricultural initiatives.

To be held at the Pusa agricultural institute campus, it will see on-farm demonstration of new crop varieties and display of modern technologies and inputs. Public and private companies will put up as many as 600 stalls.
