The final date for filling of forms has also been extended till April 5. Earlier, March 1 was the last date for the NEET online application. Exams will be conducted on May 7 as usual.
Passing NEET allows students to get admission into MBBS/BDS courses in India.
According to the official notification by the CBSE, the NEET will be held in 10 languages — Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya and Kannada. There is another petition pending in the apex court related to NEET, asking examination to be also conducted in Urdu as well. The court is expected to give its verdict on the petition today.
