Union HRD (Human Resource Development) Minister Smriti Irani will visit Amethi, the parliamentary constituency of Congress party vice president Rahul Gandhi, on May 26.
Irani will visit all five constituencies of Amethi District.
She will inaugurate a health fair and distribute aid to the physically challenged in Amethi.
In Tikermafi, she will address particpants at function organised in the IIIT complex and in Jagdeeshpur, she will pay a visit to the home of former minister Ram Lakhan Passi to meet his family and offer her condolences.
Amethi district is the 72nd district of the state of Uttar Pradesh in northern India. This district is part of the Faizabad division. It covers an area of 3,070 square kilometers. Gauriganj is the administrative headquarters of the district.
