Disgraced pacer S Sreesanth, who has been sent to judicial custody, had a restless night in his small cell in the Tihar Jail on the day he was sent to judicial custody.

The cricketer, who is lodged in Tihar's Jail no 1 after a Delhi Court rejected Delhi Police's plea for police custody yesterday, had to share his cell with two other undertrials, sources said.

He had been in the custody of Delhi Police ever since he was arrested on May 16 from Mumbai along with two other teammates Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila from Mumbai.

During the day, he remained with these people, Chavan and Chandila.

"Nobody came to meet Sreesanth today but most likely some people may come to meet him tomorrow," a senior Tihar offical said.

The sacked Rajasthan Royals player had the normal food of pulses and rice just like other prisoners at night and tea and biscuit in the morning like the other prisoners, he said.
