Trader arrested for supplying to Naxals

Two persons, including a Bhilai-based businessman, have been arrested for allegedly supplying materials used for making arms and ammunition to Naxals in Chhattisgarh's insurgency-hit Sukma district, police said here today.
Businessman Yogesh Vardani and Ramadhar Verma, a driver who hails from Kerlapal areal of Sukma, were arrested last night on the specific input by a recently arrested Naxal supporter, Sukma Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Neeraj Chandrakar told PTI. Yogesh, who runs a hardware shop in Bhilai area, was providing various hardware materials used in manufacture of firearms and explosives to Naxals, he said.
