16 Indian fishermen with three boats held in Pak

Pakistani Marine Security Agency has apprehended 16 Indian fishermen and seized their three boats in the Arabian sea near Jakhau on the coast of Kutch, the Porbandar Boat Association said today.
"Sixteen Indian fishermen were arrested yesterday by PMSA while they were fishing in the Arabia sea near the international marine border," Porbandar Boat Association secretary Manish Lodhari PTI.
"We got the information from our counterparts in Karachi, Pakistan today, after the fishermen reached there," he said.
They have seized their three boats also, he further said.
"It is yet not known from where these fishermen exactly belong or the names of their boats," Lodhari said.
According to figures given by President of Porbandar Port Association, Hiralal Shiyal, with yesterday's arrest the number of Indian fishermen in Pakistan's custody has risen to 610.
Also, the number of boats seized by PMSA has gone up to 429, he added.
Lodhari said that they have informed the Indian cost guard about the incident.
