Two months after submitting the controversial 2G spectrum allocation scam report to the Lok Sabha speaker, Murli Manohar Joshi, the chairman of the public accounts committee has squarely blamed the present textiles minister and former telecom minister, Dayanidhi Maran, for changing the terms of reference for the allocation of 2G spectrum.
‘The most dangerous bill’
Terming the draft of the Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence Bill as the most dangerous legislative initiative by the government, BJP on Friday asked its chief ministers to register a strong protest against the Bill and ask Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to give it a “deep burial.”
