Anti-Posco stir intensifies, govt desists from use of force

The anti-Posco agitation intensified on Saturday, even as the Orissa government, which had declared the protests “unlawful”, re-deployed police force. However, the police returned for the second day without entering the plant site. The agitation saw civil society activists rushing to express solidarity with the protesters.
