Both houses adjourned over Telengana, Army chief's letter

The demand for the new state of Telangana rocked the Lok Sabha for the third day today with agitating members of the TRS, TDP and Congress storming the Well to press for immediate statehood.
Displaying posters, they shouted slogans paying no heed to Speaker Meira Kumar's repeated requests to them to go back to their seats.
As the uproar continued, she adjourned the House till noon.
The Telangana supporters were joined by JD-U members who demanded coal linkage for Barauni thermal power plant in Bihar.
Amid the din, only one question could be taken up during Question Hour.
