CAT 2012 concludes, aspirants up by 4 per cent

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM), along with Prometric, provider of market-leading test development and test delivery solutions, today announced the successful conclusion of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2012.

A total of 2,14,068 candidates registered for this year’s test which was conducted in 61 test centres across 36 cities over a 21-day testing window from October 11 to November 6. Sale of vouchers and registration for CAT 2012 have gone up marginally by four per cent this year. In 2011, IIMs saw 205,000 registrations.

"With CAT 2012 testing coming to a conclusion, we are looking forward to the calibre of candidates that will come through our doors, and turning them into future leaders,” said Debashis Chatterjee, director, IIM Kozhikode.
