The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has started an Online Finance Facilitation Centre in Himachal Pradesh to provide advisory and credit facilitation support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Rajender Singh, Director (Industries), Himachal Pradesh government, launched the facilitation centre on Saturday at Baddi. The centre will operate as a one-stop shop, aggregating financing options from various major financial institutions. This is a maiden initiative of CII for the SME units.
The centre is designed to match SMEs' funding demands with banks and financial institutions. SME members across India can approach the centre through an online interface for their credit requirement.
